Project Scheduling

Hi,

How is everyone handling multiple project scheduling of CAD production?
Are you using software like Excel or MS Project? I'm only talking
production. I'm just trying to find a better solution for distributing
the cad work and making sure everyone is busy and working on projects
that are priority.

Any ideas or solutions anyone want to share?

Kevin,
I have been using a "Catch and Distribute" method for about 7 months now,
but I am working on a spreadsheet in Excel where I can lay out 2 week
periods for my management meetings. I'd be happy to share that when I
complete it sometime in the next 2 weeks.

We use a custom "project schedule" that was created on our exchange server in a public
folder. I've got a couple of screen shots in cf in a post labeled "Outlook Forms" dated
10/3/200 11:05 AM.

This is more of a general information form, but we're currently working on a database
format that will track actual hours of personnel. Don't know a time frame for completion.

That's strange. I'd checked just before posting to make sure that they were
still there. Maybe my newsreader just had them cached?
Who knows.

Oh well, I'll re-post them monday morning and post the subject here. Sorry.

Posted in cf with subject Project Scheduling, but it looks like the inline attachments
aren't working.

Re-posted with attached files. Of course when I just make them attachments they seem to
show up in-line??

Se reply to Project Scheduling in cf

Thanks! I got it. I know that after looking at your forms for awhile, I
may have a question or two for you.
