Problem with Layer Manager Display

I actively create, maintain and update our company CAD Standards, however I am having major problems with the layer manager in AutoCAD 2012. I have had to revert back to the Classiclayer as the standard one in AutoCAD 2012 does not seem to work properly - it misses out many buttons and information that should be visible. I have not been successful in resolving this issue and wondered if anyone else has had the same problem. Could this be a glitch with 2012 ?

what missing "many buttons and information"? Are you using plain AutoCAD 2012 or a vertical? Did you used to use a plain AutoCAD version or a vertical in a previous life where these buttons and info was present? if yes, whcih one?

I guess, this is some kind of bug. It does not happen all the time. Sometimes, when Layer Manager is open, buttons missing on the top. Sometimes, no layers list is shown, even when on the bottom says that all yours 69 layers displayed. To fix these issues I just restart AutoCAD and everything is back to normal.

My company experiences the Layer Manager issue a lot also. We are a network based, AutoCAD MEP 2011 x64bit users. The issue became more manageable (still happens when I am in/out of a lot of drawings) for me when my machine was upgraded. New machine is a HP Z600 with X5650 @ 2.67GHz, 8GB ram, 64bit Operating System, HP ZR24w Monitor using Quadro 4000.
