Polyline Offset fix.. - messages moved

CAD Managers discussion group is more for office procedures than
technical support.

The messages in "Polyline Offset fix.." have been moved to the
technical support group for Architectural Desktop 2.

This Architectural Desktop 2 newsgroup can be found on the NNTP
newsgroup reader site
news://discussion.autodesk.com/autodesk.aec.arch-desktop2

You may also access the Architectural Desktop 2 discussion group
via the HTTP web-based forums at
http://discussion.autodesk.com/WebX?14@@.ee77ea4

Please follow it there for more discussion.

thanks...
have you noticed that like maybe 1 in 10 posts in that NG actually get a response and that the responses are over a month after the initial posts? and most of the posts over there are of the "how do I get my command line back" type?
I posted here because A. I am a CAD manager, B. I wanted the advice of other more experienced CAD Managers who have probably seen this before. C. I wanted a quick response. I would be willing to bet that any response I get to my post regardless of where I posted would be from a cad manager.
to be totaly correct it should have been moved to the autocad 2000 NG unless for some reason the offset command is different in Architectural Desktop r2.

Miguel -

With all due respect, if every CAD Manager posted his technical
support questions here, the purpose of this group would lose its
effectiveness. This group is designed for office matters such as
office standards, how to handle problematic issues. The error in
moving you to ADT2 is mine. Please repost your question to ACAD
2000 which is a quite active section.

Miguel,
I agree with you, but would go farther in listing alternative NG's. In
my list of NG's, I would include ACAD2000, MDT4, MDT5 and MCAD. I am
sure there are other special areas in which polylines are normally used
(or should be normally used).
