plotting service prices

Does anybody have a good feel of what a plotting service costs? We are
looking at adding this to our business and have no idea of a price
structure? Would anyone share the prices they know of?

Depends on paper size, and media type.

I helped a friend start it up for his company as an added service.

$12.00 to $16.00 per plot, then again quantity can count for a discount.

He's been able to track and make about $30,000 to $35,000 and growing, a
month, from his clients as an added service

I would also suggest you look into a good plot logging tool or batch
plotter.

I customized his office with plot logging, and batch plotter tools R14.

Remember, you'll have to track, media, size, client, date and time,
comments, delivery, etc.

Prices can be very negotiable, based on volume.

The first thing you have to do is determine how much it cost you to plot now.
What plotting services you would be making available?
Metro service bureaus can do nearly anything and quite cheaply.
What kind of volume would you need to cover the fixed costs of opening this business branch.
Do you need hardware to offer this service?
You need to figure what it costs you before you get into pricing.

Ours works out to $0.17/sq. ft. About $1 sheet.
