PDA (palm) text editor

Has anyone found a text editor that synchronizes with the PC. We are
looking for something that is of a higher quality and had categories or even
subcategories. Thanks.

By 'categories' do you mean an application that can be referred to
as an outliner similar to what Word provides?

not necessarily, I am just looking for a good note taking program that will
synchronize with the desktop so that people in the field can take notes,
record happenings and then bring them into their desktops. I know palm
already has the memo feature, but if you synchronize with outlook it brings
everything in as sticky notes. Any ideas would be appreciated. I thought
that someone out there must be using palm to jot down notes about projects
and then save them to a location on their PCs

Use Palm with one of the thousands of small programs suitable for this.

I am using a database-application for the Palm witch converts to almost any
known format on the PC.
You can easy make a good GUI on the Palm and some easy ways to convert to
known files...
