License for only 5 hours

We currently have 6 licenses of LDDT for our 6 CAD operators but we are
hiring a project manager who might use CAD to check some drawings before the
CAD operator plots it. They will only use it about 5 hours a week. Does
anyone know if we will have to buy an entire license for this user or could
we go by the number of hours the software is being used. For example, if 3
of the CAD users only use CAD for 35 hours a week that leaves 15 hours (out
of a 40 hour work week) that aren't being used. License manager will not
work for us. Can someone shed any light on this?

Thanks,
Jason Stevens

Jason,

I think you're looking at another licence, or:
AutoCAD Light - should be sufficient for checking drawings.
VoloView - allows plotting and red-lining

Jason,

I believe the license will allow for a single workstation install, regardless of
who's using it at any particular time. So if the PM can use the CAD person's
computer while they are gone, you should be OK. (Note: I am not a lawyer or an
expert).
