Importing Google Maps to AutoCAD

Hello all,

I am looking in to adding a map to autocad. I have done this before by taking a screen shot and adding a raster image to autocad to trace over. How do I save a map that autocad will pick up the points and show the line etc...

Can I save an image with the information attached to add to raster which will show in CAD.

Many Thanks

Alastair

If you have Raster Design you can follow raster lines and pick raster points. You can also add vector data to a raster and save it. If you don't have Raster Design. Then you can't. There are probably 3rd party programs that also do this but I don't know of them.
