Hotfix cannot be applied

Downloaded the OEHotfix.2005, but now we get the following message:

"This Hotfix cannot be applied."

That's it, no reason why, no help button, no suggestions as to where it fails, or how to proceed. Any thoughts?

You may have it already applied, or you may have applied other hotfixes
that invalidated it (or MSI could be mis-behaving)
Try to repair the install via Add/Remove programs then apply agian as
ADMINISTRATOR. If you get to love from that, uninstall the product in
question, making sure to remove the program directory under "C:\Program
Files\". Reinstall and reapply as ADMINISTRATOR.

also turn off antivirus and anti-spyware. They will frequently interfere
with installs.

Yes, I discovered the problem was indeed happening on all stations that had the install already. Works like a charm. Thanks for your quick response.

I had the same problem as CADpilot and tried to fix this problem the same way by uninstalling the OEhotfix program in ADD/REMOVE Programs and reinstalled under administrator. I also turned off the firewall during before the installation. I'm still getting the same message. "This hotfix cannot be applied" This is extremely frustrating and cannot copy and paste into certain files. I'm working in Autocad 2006, but also have Autocad 2002 and Autodesk Architectural Desktop 3.3 on my computer. Is there anyway to fix this problem besides the OEHotfix cause it doesn't seem to be working in my favor? Please help me.
