Hardware for the software.

In the last movie of Die Hard, the bad guy notes the guns they are loading up as Hardware for your software.  That is what I am looking at right now.  Software we have.  From Civil thru Revit.

We will be running Windows 7 on 64 bit BUT, now comes the question.  What quad base and what graphics.  I have seen reports from 12 gig ram needed to run Revit 2011 to 4 gig.  Most I have spoken to, do not like Dell, so give me your best shot at building a hot machine, that will be reliable, if that word exists.
