DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

Hello,

We are looking for a Document Management software.  So we can contain and manage site photos, specifications linked to photos, cad details/drawings, notes, sketches, etc.  Does anyone have recommendations?

Sounds like you need BIM 360 Field...

I would definitley look at Adept, from Synergis.  They have a good track record, and have been doing EDMS (Engineering Document Management Systems) with a CAD centric slant for qyite a while now.

no financial interest, just impressed by their product and support

We started using eQuorum about a year ago and are completely satisfied. It will do everything you need it to and it's roughly half the cost of some of the other software we looked at. www.equorum.com

At Onset Design we've recently launched a new cloud-based product called Lunr for managing all kinds of Engineering Content, such as AutoCAD drawings, models, images, office docs, and more. I'm biased here (working on the product) but it has some interesting features that I think are worth a look Lunr.

Hello there Sean,

So, I ve seen your post, which was posted a while ago, but our company and I just started looking for a simple software/cloud, where we could save, store and manage our documents and drawings.

I looked at your site and it somehow does and covers the points we require, however for a complete and final decision, we would like to get a little bit more information.

Do you have any other additional video, where the process is shown? I read a little bit about your blog and watched the 5min video, however I would like to finalise our decision after we see it in use… Something like a tutorial or similar.

Could you provide me with something like that (video)? Thanks in advance!

BR, Martin
