Depends on which version of AutoCAD you are using.

1. AutoCAD A2K, you must install the Migration software that is on the
AutoCAD CD.

2. After you have Migration installed you can open Autodesk and on the
command line type: CONVERTPSTLYES.

3. If you have 2002 you already have the migration tools installed so just
type the same command and it will start the ball rolling.

4. I do not know right now if 2000-i has the migration tools separate as in
2000 or is included as in 2002. You will know soon enough if you are using
2000-i.

5. Go to TOOLS > OPTIONS > PLOTTING and make sure the ctb selection is
marked.

6. If you do not have a CD or 2002, then you must make a wblock of the
drawing, both model and paper spaces and create a new drawing. But first
make sure your Plotting is set to default to ctb files and not stb
files....see number 5 above.

Hope that helps.

Here's the scoop I learned in CAD User Group Plotting Seminar by a
Professional CAD Instructor...

1. Convert STB >>> to >>> CTB, utilize command: CONVERTPSTYLES

2. Convert CTB >>> to STB ...

FIRST, MUST Convert the Table first to STB, so use the command--
CONVERTCTB
and convert the TABLE.

SECOND, run command CONVERTPSTYLES

Note! Converted STB's will have a "Flag" Icon with the file, which means
converted CTB!

Good Luck!

~Terry
