Carlson Software

Anyone use Carlson software, for highway design? The majority of our big scale highway design is done on Infrasoft/MX and I have currently one CAD station using LDT/Civil Design for smaller stuff. I would like more LDT3/Civil design licenses or something similar, perhaps something with an easier learning curve. A former colleague has recommended Carlson, but he is a surveyor, and I would like to hear from someone who has used Carlson for highway design, and earthwork volumes.

LDD3 is extremely easy to use for roadway design,
you already have it I'd stick with that.

There is nothing that Carlson has that LDT does not have with regard to design. There is only one function that I had found for surveying that was easier in Carlson than LDT. If you already have LDT why bring in another program??
