Can we change the hatch start point?

Good morning

I'm trying to hatch a ceiling grid and I want it to be centered in the room
(of course).
Is there a way to change the start point or the center point of the hatch?

I've ask other newsgroups but have not gotten an answer hope fully someone
here can help me?

Thanks,
Nick

I believe that one of the hatch lines goes through 0,0. This does not sound
helpful, but maybe someone can work with it.

I have a lisp routine that will adjust the hatch based on the point you
select. Might work.

Nick,

You can control your hatch origin using Snapbase.

Hello Nick,

Simple ... set the "snapbase" variable to the desired point.

Good luck !

The easiest way is to move you ucs to the center of the room. Works like a
charm

Why not just use snapbase?

Not a very smart move at all, imho! It'll screw up ordinate dimensioning and
many lisp routines just don't like it when you change the Origin point.
Better to simply change the SNAPBASE sysvar!
