Depends on your discipline or services.
This can be an easy drawing exercise, managing entity, layers, dimension,
limits.
Simply create a template of a finished drawing and have the person follow
your office standards.
Then set a given time to complete the exercise.
1. Track time
2. Office standards procedures, like layers, text, size, placement, etc.
Let's face it, you know when someone's drawn something correctly, using
fillet, offset, layering, dimensioning.
You'd be surprised to see how many people take an hour to complete something
that should only take 10 min. to draw.
But if the person can complete it in 5 min and drawn correctly, hire them
right away.
