CAD Workstation Wishlist

I need some help from you guys on finding a workstation. We are building a new office building and I get a wishlist.

A couple of years ago I saw a cubicle that had a projector built into that that projected about a 36" screen onto the cubicle wall. The projector actually sat above you as you were sitting down.

I can't seem to sort through all the junk on google to find them.

Anybody seen this before?
Links would be great.

I honestly wouldn't waste time with that, just get yourself one really nice
30" flat screen monitor and be done with it. I run twin 22's and would save
substantial deskspace with a 30" but trying to justify the cost to
management is not that easy. Other than that get as much processor as you
think they'll bite for.

Yeah I know, that is probably the way I will end up. Still want to consider them though.

At the time the cubicle and projector was really reasonable. Considering I am going to have to buy chairs, cubicles, and monitors, this may be a way to go.

I might go cheap on the cubicles and get really nice chairs and monitors though.

I love not having a budget number, was told to go create my own.

Don't forget the keyboard and mouse. They are kind of important! 🙂

But seriously, don't forget a UPS of some sort for each computer. We have
them that will allow all users to work for at least 20 minutes (including
servers). If you get bigger monitors, you may have to get larger UPS's.
There is a website that allows you to size the UPS based on your equipment
(www.apc.com). It was interesting working like that during a recent power
outage. No lights, but our computers and production was still going! 😉

Sounds like a Proxima. Pretty pricey! Bulbs alone $350+.

Guys your missing the question.

I can go buy a projector anywhere.

I am looking for the cubicle that is setup to handle the projector on to the wall of the cubicle.

I saw it in a cad magazine, that is why I figured one of you guys has run across it.

AAAAHAA! So you want the cubical which has Proxima capabilities. That is like saying, "I want a kitchen with a dish washer." I would think any cubical would handle this with the right mounting hardware. As long as you keep your head out of the way.

Steve,

That is the thing, this cubicly had the mounting hardware and back screen built in. This is what I can't find even with the power of google.
