What's the best Cad manager magazine?

Currently, there are no magazines specifically geared for the CAD Manager (that
I know of), but both Cadalyst and Cadence magazines give fairly good CAD
Manager-specific articles.

Computer-Aided Engineering Magazine also has pretty good managerial insight.
www.caenet.com Note this magazine is not AutoCAD specific. It has
information on other CAD software as well.

I subscribe to three CAD magazines:

"Cadalyst" http://www.cadalyst.com/

Here is Cadalyst's CAD Manager Column archive:
http://www.cadalyst.com/solutions/mc/

"Cadence" http://www.cadenceweb.com/

"Inside AutoCAD" http://www.elementkjournals.com/iac/

You can subscribe to Cadence and Cadalyst for FREE if you qualify.

Hey Terry...
Are you getting kickbacks on "A" or something? Actually, I saw your post on
it a few days ago and subscribed - thanks for the heads up!

Oh yeah... if you are getting kickbacks... share! 🙂

Command: (setq kickbacks nil)

I get nothing, never have. The magazine is free to subscribers (no
charge means no profit). Production costs are largely covered by those
who advertise and I suppose Autodesk picks up the tab on any remaining
costs.

I work up the back page 'Productivity Tips' which contains my ugly mug
shot. It takes extra time to write up every two months, but then I feel
that some readers 'may' save a few minutes a day. These are people who
don't necessarily have access to these groups.

Whoa, never noticed that! Now I've got a real reason to read this rag--I just
have to skip past the Autodesk propaganda... Great column, Terry.
