GM! I've got one full version of Autocad and a group (15) of want-a-bees. LT is a bit extreme and costly for sharing. I've got a need for them to view, print, possibly redline or markup. Does anyone have a better cost effective approach to this versus LT for everyone?
You could take a look at Autodesk DWF Composer

Volo View hasn't been available since May 1, 2005, and support for it ends January 15 (next week). DWF Composer, as recommended above, is a better choice.
Just go "old school" and plot the drawing for them. Then they should be
able to
-view
-redline
-markup
-make copies
-use colors
-take it home
-take it to the job site
-take it to the bathroom
-eat lunch on it
-share with others (no software to download)
-no computer resources
-leave them in the backseat of the car
-might even be able to use them for some kind of engineering

Be aware that Composer's markup tools are only available for DWFs, and you
can only view those markups in AutoCAD if you're on 2005 or above. Composer
does include a DWG viewer with printing capabilities, but no markup tools.

We're running IntelliCAD on a couple of the engineers' machines around here. They don't need to do much in the way of drafting, but they use some of the tools regularly and it saves us from saving every drawing in different file formats...not bad for $100 a pop...

It's what I use at home for personal stuff 😉 Works well enough for
most tasks.
