Autocad 2010 and Microsoft Word 2007

When I insert an Autoacd 2010 drawing into a Microsoft Word 2007 document, it does insert the drawing, but the scale is way off and it's crunched/ distorted.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for a timely and informative reply. I also came across some tutorials on the subject from a Mechanical Engineering program at Georgia Institute of Technology.
