Anyone from Great Briton

What does 'CV' mean in the context of applying for a job? Is it the same as a resume? Thanks.

If you are landing at gatwick you will probably line up for the runway over my office in Tunbridge Wells, Final approach is usually over tunbridge wells, last turn to line up with the runway, I'll wave back.

If the inbound flights are approaching from the west you will fly over my
house just before going over the reservoirs. With the Dunlops dangling my TV
aerial will get skewed.

Hey Diner Guy,

Avtually, a CV and a Resumé are two different things. A resumé is a short
list of qualifications and experience, and a CV is more detailed and usually
describes actual accomplishments from those experiences.

I'm sorry to report that I never caught the "prime" reason to appreciate
Monty Python.

So I'm fairly sure I meant Dame Christie. 🙂

When I was in NYC buying an ice cream they asked what I'd like with it. I asked for hundreds & thousends and almost got into a lot of trouble until I explained they are an ice-cream covering in the UK and not a way to rob a store.

In NYC, you'll find a myriad of "accents" - almost on every street corner!
