Project Point and Volo View

We have just started to experement using project point, has anybody come across the following error message when trying to open a Acad 2000 dwg "Error regenerating graphics, incompatible file format or version". This seems to be directed at volo view rather than project point so this question may be better in another discussion group, but any help appreciated

This is a Volo View [Express] issue. You can verify
that by attempting to view the file outside of ProjectPoint. Normally this means
that the drawing has a combination of items, e.g. text, graphic primitives,
layers, etc. that confuses Volo View [Express]. What happens if you use AutoCAD
to save the drawing with some of the layers turned off? Can Volo view it
then?

I have tried , but to no avail.
We are using ADT 3.3 and the latest version on VVexpress.
Could this be a problem with VVE, or the fact that they are ADT drawings and it does not like them,Is there a way around this?
Thanks

Ok, so turning off some layers didn't work around
the problem. Bummer. This means that there is something in there that is causing
Volo to trip over itself. It certainly could be related to ADT, because Volo
works quite well on vanilla AutoCAD drawings. If you go to
href="http://pointa.autodesk.com/local/enu/portal/prodcent/obj_enabler.htm">http://pointa.autodesk....
 and
download the Arch 3.3 "object enabler." An object enabled allows Volo View to
read the drawing the same way that ADT does. Without the object enabler, Volo
View has to try to use "proxy graphics" to display what is in the drawing. Maybe
the attempt to use the proxy graphics is what is causing it to trip over
itself?
