Development Question/DB-PP

ProjectPoint and Databases.

Can we integrate an SQL database with
ProjectPoint?

And any ideas on how?

Thanks

And lemme make
sure, this Project Point is not a stand-alone package that we can buy and
install on servers but a remotely hosted one?

ProjectPoint is a service. It has a client
application that allows you to use the service. You are correct in that the
servers are our servers, which reside at Exodus. There is not a self hosted
solution available, although the idea is being considered for use of
ProjectPoint in the mechanical space. For the construction market right now, we
offer our hosted solution.

ProjectPoint lets you upload and download files. It
keeps track of versions. I have seen people use Microsoft Access with
ProjectPoint by uploading and downloading entire copies of the database. This is
exactly what you don't want. ProjectPoint has an API that allows people to log
in and upload or download files and logout. There is no way for users to get at
the SQL database rows that comprise our back end. Sorry.
