Make Grids Visible on iPad Glue app

Make Grids Visible on iPad Glue app

When Glue-ing from Revit or Navisworks, Glue (sometimes) comprehends the grids. These grids can be viewed on the desktop app, but they are not currently visible on the iPad app.

On large facilities, it is a high priority for grids to be visible on mobile devices (for wayfinding etc). Additionally, it would be extremely valuable to be able to dimension to the nearest gridlines.

Currently, the only workaround is to model (using model lines or a 3D Grid Family) the gridlines at each level. This scenario could quickly result in dis-coordination if these "duplicated" model grids are not continuously monitored for changes.

Please provide Grid visibility on the iPad Glue app as a matter of priority. Thanks!

Hi Luke,

Could having the floor plans as attachments and have a viewpoint for specific rooms on the application so if for example you want to go to the kitchen on the first floor you can select the viewpoint for that?

I'm happy to announce that you can view gridlines on the iPad app - and control the visibility settings of grids in both 2D and 3D view - with the BIM 360 Glue iPad app V3.0 that was released today.  Learn more here about the new 2D to 3D "Map" navigation feature and gridline controls:
