Revit to Glue color

When I post from Revit I would like to change the color but have no idea how to do this. Currently I am posting plumbing & all the pipes show up Grey, Insulated & uninsulated. Is there an easy way to do this?

Hi Thom,

Thank you for posting in the forum.

In response to this posting, there are several possible ways of assigning colors from Revit to Glue.  One option will be to create different materials in Revit with the color that you want to assign to different plumbing objects or components.  Once the materials are created, make sure that the "Use Render Appearance" box is checked in the Graphics tab of the Material Browser.  The expect result is that when the view is Glued, it will display the assigned materials.

Another option is to change the colors in the Line Color column in Object Styles of Revit.  Please make sure that in Glue Desktop, that in the Visibility settings of Line is checked.  The Visibility setting is in the Advanced tab of Options in Glue Desktop.  The Options menu can be accessed by clicking on the arrow next to the profile photo on the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

I hope you find this information helpful.

Sincerely,

Frederick
