Hi Robert,
Thank you for posting in this forum.
To ensure that models line up in Glue when merging different models, the project team will need to determine beforehand which coordinates or base point will be used. Glue will read either Project Internal or Shared Coordinates. It cannot be mixed and matched. You or whoever are responsible for managing the models need to make sure that everyone who are uploading is using the same coordinate system.
How the models line up when inserting it as linked files in Revit or as XREF in AutoCAD without manually adjusting its alignments in either Revit or AutoCAD is how it will also line up in Glue.
If the models in your project have the same base point or reference point, then what you will need to use when Gluing is Project Internal if gluing views from Revit. If there is a published Shared Coordinates then it will be Shared Coordinate. The default setting when gluing a Revit view is Shared Coordinates, the user uploading will need to make sure that the correct coordinate system is selected when gluing views from Revit.
I hope you find this information helpful. If you need additional assistance we will be more than happy to review the models with you. You may submit a support ticket at bim360glue.support@autodesk.com.
Sincerely,
Frederick
