Linking Issues Together when involving Multiple Subcontractors

Has anyone found an effective work around when an "issue" involves multiple subcontractors?

I've seen how you can create "links" with issues on the website, but you currently can not use those on the iPad.

Wondering what the best solution is when you have an issue that involves multiple subs, typically one after another and how you effectivly manage them completing the work on the documentation side.

We have tried just creating two issues so both subs involved are pinged, but the later of the two subs gets frustrated the previous issue isnt complete when they go to instpect.

Any thoughts or success stories would be great!

I have the same issue.....

Sometimes multiple contractors can be responsible for the same mess on site 🙂

We see this same issue too- it would be great if a subcontractor had the option to pass off an issue to another sub.

Hello Grant,

Thank you for participating in our community!

I understand that you want to assign an issue that involves multiple subcontracts. I am sorry to inform you that this functionality is not available in the Autodesk BIM 360 Field Web or an iPad application at this time. If you have any feedback that you would like to submit regarding the current product, please click on the “Suggestion Box” link on bottom of the BIM Field 360 home page and submit your request to the project manager of the product.  This will help the PM and developers hear your voice on any changes/concerns with functionality directly for consideration in future builds.

Thank you and have a great day!

Best regards,

we had the same issue and we have created two more custom fields with a predefined dropdown field and copy pasted the sub-lists into the dropdown list. This way one issue had one responsible sub and could have two more via the custom fields. The trade of was the automatic report integration of course, which we had to consider in our workflow.
