Any advice or experience on how to best convince the Architect's team and consultants to directly use BIM 360 for creating issues and field reports (in lieu of them creating them in a different environment and then someone (us) having to re-gurgitate them into BIM 360?
Hello,
Thank you for participating in our community!
I would recommend that you should request your Architect's team and consultants to visit the Autodesk BIM 360 Field “Features & Benefits” page to get more information about the product. Also, have them try BIM 360 Field free trial version and I am sure they will like it once they start using all the good functionality that help improve safety, quality, and commissioning.
Please, let me know if this help.
Thank you and have a great day!
Best regards,
We have a presentation we show them that is all about the benefits specific to the design team. Its so easy and we've paid all this money for you Mr.Arch to be able to use it. We won't lose the issue and you can make sure the issues are properly closed, we'll add pictures for you, yes you can print out a report and save it to your system...
Also, even if its early in construction we'll show the design team the benefit of using BIM 360 during the punchlist process. I have a training job setup that has barcodes, locations, punchlist template, etc setup and the team can run through a simple punchlist item with them in just a few seconds.
It doesn't hurt that we sell the owner on using it during the award process.
So far so good but there are always a couple that won't participate.
