Our company has been giving our Superentendants tablet laptops rather than the +1 laptop with an iPad because of scheduling software requirements to update the schedule in the field.
With many of our jobs being in difficult connectivity access with WiFi or cellular, does anyone else see the need for a standalone Windows desktop program installed on your computer optimized for tablet's that can be used wihtout an internet connection?
Its unfortunate these superintendants dont have the ability to use 360 Field on their Window based Tablets they take out to the field just because they dont have internet access. Currently if the superintendants want to use Field, but have a tablet PC, they need to use an iPad which seems so backwards in implementation...
Anyone else see this standalone Windows program (similar to Navis, Revit, etc) to be benificial to run without an internet connection?
