BIM360 as an educational tool for university's demonstration house

Hi all,

I have been given the task over summer (sth hemisphere) to model one of our university's demonstration houses and then be able to view the BIM in situ via the use of a tablet such as an iPad. This would be used for educational purposes so that students and visitors to the house can "see through the walls" to see how the services and structure are put together and in the future to possibly relay live data of the HVAC and other services in the house.

I guess my question is how effective would BIM360 be for this task and how would I go about doing this? (Field or glue or both?)

Hello. I'm also interested to know if there is any chance to use BIM-360-Field for educational purposes. In my case, I would like to use it for the development of my master's thesis. I'm currently involved in a research on the viability and advantages of the application of on-site BIM technologies for the management of information generated at the construction phase of projects. Also, I'm currently testing the free trial version with a colleague involved in the same line of research and we think it would be really helpful for us to have a chance to use the app for the development of our respective researches here in Brazil.

I have installed the bim360 glue and field apps, but I am having trouble uploading anything to them. Do I need the BIM360 glue desktop program? Adn is there a way for me to download the BIM360 glue desktop program as a student also? I can only see the 30 day trial for glue and field.
