BIM 360 Glue viewer vs A360 WebGL Viewer

Hi Guys,

I'm quite new to the autodesk products and we are trying to decide the best way to go for a web application using either BIM 360 Glue viewer or A360 WebGL Viewer.

The first thing I'd like to know is if our initial thoughts are accurate :

Using BIM 360 Glue viewer doesn't allow developers to add objects in the 3D scene ? unlike with A360 WebGL Viewer through Three.js which is one of our requirements.

If yes, the only way would be to download the file (3D Model and 2D Plan) from BIM 360 Glue or BIM 360 Field and then render it through A360 WebGL Viewer. 

But in this case I wonder if the position matrix of models and the binding between 2D model and 3D model would disappear ? So a more precise question would be, when somebody is changing the matrix position of a 3D model in Glue, does the 3D model file is updated to contain the new position matrix or is it just stored in glue ?

Your observation is basically correct.

A360 Viewer, or we should call it Forge Viewer now, came long way since the above post was made.  You can do lots more now.

To get the view transformation, please take a look at model info call.  I believe it returns transformation info.

Another option might be to use agregated model:
