Which Version ?

Ok,
I am forced to buy some version of Sketch. I need comapatibilty with all
V7 drawings. I did not find V7 anywhere for sale yet, but I did find
QuickCad millenium 7.

I'm not a big fan of the dialout issue in V8 so will QC m7 work ? Its
$56 compared to V8 @ $119.

I have not used the 3d simulated stuff so I am curious if the QC is good
enough. Probably will have to change the "file type" window all the
time...??

Also, If I really need to go V8, Are we all "sure" that it can open and
save V7 files ? Or am I stuck converting all to V8 ?

Thanks,
Chris L

Chris,

V8 is exactly the same as V7, although I find V7 opens .DWG files better
than V8. I have experimented with this as I use .DWG's a lot with
QuickCAD....V8 seems to omit more complex data...mainly blocks with
attributes. This is the reason I am sticking with V7.

I guarantee V8 can open V7 files and V7 can open V8 files.

Anyway....how come your asking us...???....perhaps you have been too busy
posting too many cryptic messages....!!!!

It's starting to show, Eh ? I'm getting sooo good., I post here, and nobody
even realizes it ! Kind of what you call "subliminal text". I reseached back
thru the V8 stuff. All I found was some guy whinin' about it, 🙂 and nothing
about the compatability. Remember 6 to 7 ? I don't need that stuff to deal
with

7 htiw kcits lliw I .ylp...... ooops, (sorry !) Thanks much for your reply.
I will stick with 7
