Wheel mouse function won't zoom

I installed Autosketch v8.0 and have a problem with my wheel mouse. I can't get the wheel to peform as the zoom function. From what I understand, the default function in Autosketch for the wheel is the zoom feature. How do I correct this?

Hi bh9103
don't think I have heard that name before..... I just tried my copy of version 8 with my intellimouse and all is fine. You might want to try opening from the (View menu) options dialog and click on the (Current Tab). There should be under View Changes (Intellimouse Zoom Percentage) try typeing in 120%. Then click OK. If that does not do the trick you might try going on the net to get he lastest drivers for your mouse. If that does not do the trick just get a stick of dynamite and...........
Hope this helps. Regards, Tom Mitchell

This sounds like a system problem.

Try going to the Control Panel and d/click on the Mouse icon. Choose the
"Wheel" tab and tick off all the check boxes. In the top two tick box
areas you'll see a "Settings" button. Look at the screens for those and
choose the appropriate settings for your work.

In the bottom "Universal SColling" you'll see an "Exceptions" button to
choose the programs you DO NOT want affected.

Try this and get back with the results.

Hi,

I have used quickcad 7 for some years and like
it.  Is autosketch 8 vastly different from v.7 quickcad.  Am
considering buying it but, as said, v.7 serves me well.

If you have a program that does everything you need and doe not crash,
do not upgrade.  I use AutoSketch 6.01.

From what I can tell from the newsgroup posts and the info on the AutoDesk
web site, I could easily use QuickCAD instead.  The only significant
(?) feature that AS has over Quick CAD is a fake 3D (which I never use).
