Problem opening DWG file in Autosketch 9

Hi All,

I read in the past there were problems opening DWG files in Autosketch 9 and I'm currently experiencing that.  The files were saved as Autocad 2004 so it shouldn't be a problem.  I use the Open File dialog box and then the window asking me what units I wish pops up.  I click feet, the green bar at the bottom starts to move, indicating the file is opening, and then the software stops responding.  I have to X out and try again, but it never works.  However, it's odd that not all DWGs have the problem.  I've tried DWG TrueView to convert the files, and that used to work sometimes, but now I get an error message trying to convert anything in TrueView (conversion creation failed), even files I was previously able to convert.  As you can imagine, I'm quite frustrated.

Can anyone please advise?

Hi, can you save these as DXF (with something else) then open in AS9?

No, I don't have any software that will save as DXF.  

Any other ideas?
