Messuring problem

I have two problems regarding messuring.

1 I cant find a way to preset the length of the messuring legs.

2 I can't drag the textline to or away from the objet without moving the endpoints nerest the objekt

away from or trugh the objekt.

Watch the attached pdf you will understand my problem.

The problem cost at lot of extra time when drawing complexed drawings.

The strange thing is that the dragproblem do not exist on my laptop.

Some times it seem to be a happening how atusketch works depending on

the computer or op-system.

Please bring me a tip.

Problem 1 is called Initial Offset length. When you first select your dimension tool you can specify this length (see attachment 1).

To enable the 'Edit Bar' click VIEW > TOOLBARS > tick EDIT

Problem 2 is interesting. Can you .ZIP the drawing file and attach it to your post so I can play with it?
