Line Widths in V. 8.0

I have been teaching AutoSketch 2.1 for 5-1/2 years now to middle school
students in our 7th grade CAD class. I just recently upgraded to V. 8.0.
Even though this version has many improvements, I am puzzled why the
Line Width settings, i.e. 1,3,5,7,9 do not show their relative width
when zooming. A line width of 9, on a full page zoom, looks like someone
drew with a crayon. I have been experimenting with polylines, since this
seems like the only accurate method to define a line width. I've called
tech support for AutoSketch, and they say that no one has complained
about this feature.

A second problem has to do with mutliple stations using AutoSketch. In
version 2.1, you could copy the .ini file over to each workstation and
maintain the custom settings. Version 8.0 does not have this file. Any
thoughts to remedy either problem.

Thanks

REALLY ? No One ?? Thats their story ?

What do they WANT ? A "Flaming Arrow" with a note attached ??? Yikes.

Melissa..... Bob..... (first AD representatives to speak here in a month)
Surely you have searched back in this group and found Line widths to be one
of the MAIN complaints since V6... No ?

I think it is safe to say Everyone who contributes to this group was
convinced that surely THIS would be fixed in V8.

But, alas, no............ When ?

You will find the custom files in the "Support" directory under AutoSketch.
They are the .TBX files....please note however that these are the files for
your custom toolbars only.

Hello Michael

A higher screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768 may be of benefit if your
monitors are below this setting.

The ini file can be fixed easily by exporting the relative section out of
the registry as a *.REG file, double clicking on it will then reset the
computer in a matter of seconds.

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>AutoSketch>7.0>Preferences

Or Export all of 7.0 and then use a text editor to take out the bits you
don't want.
