Hello AutoSketch help people

I still have this problem aligning a group of objects to the grid after copying and pasting to another sheet. I have tried everything suggested with no success. Is there someone who I can communicate with via email on a one to one basis to work through this?

Regards
Paul

Try this

after you have pasted objects to a new
sheet

-Select the group of objects you want to
move.

-Select the translate tool (
Edit>Transform>translate)

-Identify 1 point that was aligned to the grid of
the old sheet & you want aligned to the grid of the new (probably
an endpoint of a line)

-Type 'E' for endpoint snap, or another appropriate
snap for the point identified ,DON'T use 'G' (grid snap)
just yet,snap to that point

-Now that you have the selection attatched to your
mouse movement. Type 'G' for grid snap and pick a grid point on your drawing.

The group of objects should now be
aligned.

Hello

Two ways

1    Right click on the about point,
reposition it and then drag it to a new position.

2    Use Transform Translate and
follow the prompts in the bottom left corner.

Bot of the above can be used with lock mode for
vertical (V) or horizontal (H).
