Export symbol w/ data to DWG

Before I go too crazy creating a lot of drawings using symbols with data, my question is, what happens to the symbol when the drawing is exported to the dwg format? All I have is AS8 and I don't have LT or anything else to examine the results of the export. I'm doing a few drawings for a customer that requires the drawing to be in the dwg format. If the symbol gets exploded but it is still editable (with data) then I'm fine with that.

Why don't you upload a dwg to this group and see if anyone can examine
your symbols, explode, whatever. Make sure it's not proprietary.

Will do!!! Let me get one finished up here and I'll submit it for examination. Thanks for the idea.
