Hi,
I'm having a few problems converting a dwg to skf. Currently we are using Civil3d 2009 and Carlson Survey 2009 running on autocad. We are having to export the drawing to dwg2000 to import it into Autosketch9. When we open up the drawing in Autosketch we lose line thicknesses and some of the line types (such as fences and overhead powerlines) as well as some of the fonts change.
I do not know enough about autocad or autosketch to come close to a diagnosis (I am a field surveyor who does a little drafting and has no inhouse support). Autosketch is asking for a line or shape file during the import procedure of which I do not really know what this means.
About 95% of my clients use Autosketch, but I need the power of these other programs for other various calculations. I have read that Autosketch 10 is more compatible with DWG's. Will Autoskctch10 solve any of my problems or is there something I can do to make my life easier??
Any help is greatly appreciated.
