creating customized lines including text

How can I customize a line type with a letter breaking the line? For example: a Fence line with the letters FL being. ex ----FL----FL----FL----
I'm pretty sure it can be done in AC LT, what about ASv7? any suggestions?

While you cannot make a line style like this, there is no reason AutoSketch
has to think it is drawing a line. For you example, draw two dashes, place
the letters FL with left center justification and end snap, add two more
dashes (or just copy the originals), and now use rubber stamp array, or save
this as a symbol and use symbol array. Look in help under AutoArrays for
more detailed instructions.

John,

You solved the problem as you always do, but there might be
another one for jwittler.

Suppose it shows a restaurant and parking lot enclosed by
such a FL line on a city map. RV travelers might think that
it is exclusive Florida territory and serves the customary
Early Bird Specials for Seniors.
Could cause a massive traffic jam even in Montana.
The more normal ways on surveys are ---X---X--- or the other
Uniform Standard Abbreviation FN for fence.
Just a thought.
