You solved the problem as you always do, but there might be
another one for jwittler.
Suppose it shows a restaurant and parking lot enclosed by
such a FL line on a city map. RV travelers might think that
it is exclusive Florida territory and serves the customary
Early Bird Specials for Seniors.
Could cause a massive traffic jam even in Montana.
The more normal ways on surveys are ---X---X--- or the other
Uniform Standard Abbreviation FN for fence.
Just a thought.
