I am looking at possibly purchasing Autosketch 10 in the future and have a couple questions for any users out there.
1) Does the software allow you to generate a curve through 10 or 12 points?
2) When drawing a line what is the process? Does it have the capability of selecting a starting point, give it a direction & inputting the length?
Thanks Gary
1. You have 'fitted curve' (line through points) and 'splines' (piecewise polynomial), so yes.
2. You can draw a random line and edit the start end end co-ordinates, or draw the first point and bring up the 'relative' tool (R) to place the end point (in cartesean or polar, relative or absolute, ortho loked or along grid), you can snap to an existing snap point and draw, or you can draw on a grid.
All the things a basic CAD package should do but it would be nice if relationships were maintained ala parametric based modelling packages.
