Ric:
That terminology is still a bit confusing. Is the term "symbol"
interchangeable with "grouped object"? Each pattern drawing consists of
several pattern pieces, each of which is a group of individual objects.
For example, a skirt has a skirt front and a skirt back consisting primarily
of lines and arcs. A bodice has a bodice front, back and sleeve consisting
primarily of lines and curves. It is a common task to join the skirt and
bodice to create a dress.
When I try to copy the bodice to the skirt drawing, it becomes two skirts.
Copying the skirt onto the bodice, it becomes two bodices.
I'd be happy to send along a copy of these drawings as an attachment if you
(or anyone else) would care to see if the same thing happens with you.

| Are the individual pattern pieces Symbols.....??? If they are, sounds to
me
| the Symbols have been re-referenced with the same name.
