circular grid

I am relatively new to Autosketch. I have been using it on and off for a number of years, but always seem to have to start almost from the beginning every time I use it.

I am trying to set up a circular grid, one with 8 spokes at 45 degrees, and a minor spoke or ray between each , in the middle. I can not seem to figure out how to do it. The terminology has me flumoxed!

Help, please!

Is this what you wanted?

Tools->Drawing Options -> Grid -> Circular

Snap interval= 22.5 degrees
Major Freq: 2
Minor Subdiv 2

Set the origin under units, not under grid position. (I don't know why)

Use LineSingle and draw one spoke of the correct
length, select it and choose Circular Array. 7
copies at 45 degrees and click on the line with an
END Snap. Will that do it?

The minor spokes similarly.

Just a guess.

Cool. I never noticed / learned that until now.
