AutoSketch bugs not fixed in version 8. Symbol bug / Scaling factor

VERSION
6.0x, 7.0x, 8.0.23

SYMPTOM
It is perfectly possible to have a negative scaling factor on a symbol (in
other words to mirror it around the x- or y-axis.)
This can be achieved in many ways (using the mirror command OR selecting the
symbol and editing the scale factor in the edit bar OR mirror a symbol by
selecting it and dragging the scaling handles OR ..)

So, - to the point
1) Select a symbol with negative scaling
factor
2) Use the menu command:
Edit\Entities\symbol (or right click and select the appropriate command)
X-scale and/or y-scale factor is
negative in the dialog box
3) Click the OK-button
4) You will get an error message: "Value
can't be less than zero (negative)"

CAUSE
Bad programming?

WORKAROUND
None

All "tests" with
- AutoSketch 8.0.23 and 6.01 using metric units (as opposed to
imperial)
- Windows XP

Hello

This is not a problem with any of my versions of Sketch from 6 to 8.

I will see if I can break it to see if another setting is causing the
problem.

Hello again

Found your problem, but it only happens when in the entity dialog.

We always adjust the negative factor from the Edit Bar by unticking the
Constrain box and put in the negative value. This also seems a lot quicker,
to me any way.

Paul.
