AutoSketch 9 freezing on Edit/Trim/Join command

Try this...to replicate the problem:

Open AutoSketch 9.,
Select Start Drawing right away.
Select circle and drag a circle onto artboard.
Select rectangle and create by dragging onto artboard.
Select anchor tool to move them and intersect them together.
Now select both objects and choose Edit/Trim/Join

At this point in the operation AutoSketch 9 freezes. You cannot get out of the operation and you have to close the process using Ctrl Alt Delete emergency command in Windows XP.

Can anybody confirm this to be a bug? Clearly something is not working. I should be able to combine two different entities and use the join command on selected objects and merge them into one object. Currently this is a snap in Illustrator CS. Any way to do this in AutoSketch 9?

My specs Pentium 4 1.6 gig mhz, 512 meg of RAM and 60 gig hard drive partitioned to three drives. Using Windows XP Home edition OEM.
