Peter, you probably have your anti-virus program still running in the
background that is interfering with InstallShield. Either that (or
perhaps along with) you may be having read errors from the CD drive.
I found an old case in our database from 1/31/94 (8 years ago!) that
listed this error message. That case was resolved by copying the program
disks to a folder on the hard drive and then running setup from there.
Also make sure you 'End Process' on your anti-virus program (don't rely
on 'Disable' from the systray at the bottom of the screen.)
