AutoSketch 10 Symbolmanager

Hallo,

I have Autosketch 10 running on Windows 7 32bit. If I try to open the Symbolmager, this error message appears:

AutoSketch Executable

A Problem has prevented the right execution of the program. Close the program.

Then I can only close the program. In Windows Event Viewer I found these two events (sorry only in German):

First event:

It seems that two dll-files sx2.dll and ntdll.dll are incorrect. I tried to start the program in Windows XP SP2 & SP3 compatibility mode with Administrator rights, but the result is the same.

Can anybody help me to solve this problem?

Hi Boran

Its a lot of work but you could try uninstalling program and reloading the program , but instead of installing in the program files folder .  try using the public folder instead.  So its c:\public\autodesk...   Then rt click on program shortcut and run in compability mode for xp.  and also check disable desktop composition.

thank you for your answer.  I have tried to fix the problem as you proposed. But the problem is still there. Any other idea?

I'd try launching program as  "Run as Administrator" .   (Right click on AS  icon).  And make sure you are an admin when you do it.    I case it is being denied access to some files.

Dear All, I still need help...

I have installed Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 Pro. The problem is still there. I can use the Symbol Manager, if I logged in as Administrator. But I cannot use it with my Account with Administrator privileges...
