Autocad complex linetypes to autosketch

I'm sure this question has been raised before, I am an Autocad user (Civil 3d), while most of my clients in one sector of the company use Autosketch. We will generally export the Civil3D drawing to DWG2000 and import into Autosketch. our major concern is that we are losing the complex linetypes used in Autocad. Considering both products are by Autodesk I would have thought that there would be an easy (seamless) transfer, but I am yet to find it. Could anyone help with this, or has anyone had this problem?

Auto sketch only does linear line types, eg in the line and not lines with crosses or hashes across them.
