A7, MORE ERRORS THAT I CAN COUNT, HELP!

Where do I start,

I'm just going to list errors, too much to explain when I get them.

fault in KERNE32.DLL closing program, blah, blah, restart windows

fault in ACGE15.DLL closing program, blah, blah, restart windows.

Floating point error 8x20? this happened several times with different sets
of numbers.

Fatal error try to recover or shut down ( I've shortened this).

I think that's all????

Using V7 0n WinME

Thanks!

Kevin

Shutdown, restart, control panel, add/remove programs, remove Sketch, rename
what ever is left of sketch in Explorer to OLDsketch, shutdown, restart,
Ctrl-Alt-Del, close any and all uneccessary programs, make sure no anti-virus
proggies are active, Reinstall Sketch, try program.

If it runs, restore your toolbars and settings. Ditch the old leftovers when
no longer needed. If it does not run, Go out and buy V8 and see if it is
better, then report back to us !

Did this just start to do this ? Any recently installed programs?
Any changes in the MS crazy stuff like "make every program on my computer look
like a web page"? Any hardware changes ?

If you just had one error, I'd blame your Video Card. That's what we learned
to do when Sketch does not work.

waiting for your reply,

Chris L

Hello Chris,

I did everything you suggested and SO FAR SO GOOD! But I'm not going to say
problem solved just yet.

FYI: First, I did not remove earlier version of Sketch, which could have
been the problem. ( I Should have known better).

To answer your questions: I did just install an HP1220Cse Printer, however I
believe these error messages arrived before printer. No strange MS errors.

I have had more problems with AutoDesk and Adobe programs than any other
software I have ever used!

Thanks a million for your help. I will keep you updated if anything strange
happens.

Kevin B.

Kevin,
just for giggles, if you have continued problems, REMOVE your printers to see
what happens. Sketch does "ping" for lack of a better word your printer when it
starts. If it does not like your printer for whatever reason, It will not load
correctly !

I too have wrestled with AS7 as many others have. It works best on a computer
that you will NOT be adding a million other apps to. But when it works, it is an
excellent little program.

I sure wish...... well, most of you KNOW what I wish !

keep us posted,
Chris L
