Have you ever noticed the similarities between a software installation and a manufacturing process? There’s a lot of activity going on behind the scenes and the numerous parts, big or little, 3rd party or in-house, share the same importance as they ALL need to come together in perfect harmony to create a working product. One weak link and or uncooperative piece of the puzzle and the whole assembly could loose significant functionality or more importantly fail.
The more complex the product, the harder it becomes to identify the cause and troubleshoot accordingly, so what do you do in the aforementioned “worst case” scenario?
In our case it’s actually pretty simple. Search through the Installation Log for a failure reference and then find the corresponding solution in our Installation and Licensing Forums. If no such solution exists or further clarification is needed, create a new post (making sure to attach the log) or reply to an existing one with the comfort of knowing that our community experts will more than likely be able to help get you up and running in no time.
