Outsourcing

I am thinking of doing some outsource work for some Land Surveyors. My question is, is there a standard or average rate Cad operators are charging for outsource work? I really don't know what is reasonable in this area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on what you are doing? Are you an LS? Are you just drafting? What
area are you in? In the DC area an outsourced drafter gets about $35 - $40
and hour but drafters are rarely needed this day in age in Land development.

I am a CAD Tech . I am in the Dallas area, I have been approached by a couple of Surveyors in the area about helping them in the upcoming busy season (thus the reason i am asking) and was just curious on what a reasonable fee might be.

It depends on who your outsourcing to. Local or Global? You can get some places overseas to do it for $4 per hour. You could send the easy stuff overseas and charge the same amount.
