The workaround for low performance when opening JT files in Navisworks

Dear FDS users, If you encounter the issue that is low performance when opening JT files (especially later 8.0/8.1 version)in Navisworks. Here are the workaround for your reference. Step 1: Open JT in Inventor, with these following critical options checked (snapshots attached) -Turn off "Solids","Surface" and "Wires" Entity type to Import area -Tessellation Detail: set to “Lowest Detail” – this eliminates excessive facet data retrieval -Data Organization: set to “Import Assembly as Single Part” – This gets around the sloow inventor assembly file save. Step 2: Save the ipt file Step 3: Load the saved ipt to Navisworks. Thanks, -Xuesong
Please mark as a solution if somehow I got it right.
